1950s Stole Pattern
Decades of Style #5006
This is a paper pattern.
Here is another vintage pattern from the early 1950s that could easily be a staple in anyone's wardrobe. It is a wide stole with a sleeve on the right side. The back of the stole wraps over the shoulder to the front where a flap conceals an opening for the left hand. Fully lined.
This pattern would make a perfect evening wrap out of a burn-out velvet or a casual cover up out of linen or a cozy knit.
Recommended fabrics include light to medium weight fabrics with a soft drape: linen, wool, rayon, silk, cotton, satin, crepe, velvet, also knit fabrics.
Pattern includes all sizes.
Decades of Style are professionally made patterns from vintage designs. There are often fun and unusual pattern making techniques. Great instructions, printed on heavy tissue paper!
