Button Dress Vintage Style Pattern
1930s Button Dress Pattern
Decades of Style #3007
This is a paper pattern.
Here's your chance to use any vintage buttons you might have hanging around your sewing room. This ironically named "Button Dress" does not actually have any functioning buttons on it. All the buttons are decorative. The dress has raglan sleeves and an invisible zipper at the side. There is a decorative tie at the back neck and a tie belt that can tighten the fit at the waist if desired.
Choose a medium to light weight fabric with a soft hand. If the fabric is too stiff, the sleeve will not drape nicely. The dress is cut on the straight grain. Rayon, voile, soft silk, handkerchief linen.
Pattern includes all 9 sizes.
Decades of Style are professionally made patterns from vintage designs. There are often fun and unusual pattern making techniques. Great instructions, printed on heavy tissue paper!
