1930s Beach Romper Vintage Style Sewing Pattern
1930s Beach Romper Pattern
Decades of Style #3013
This is a paper pattern.
This vintage pattern for a beach romper is right off the sands of Deauville in 1939. It is the perfect thing to throw over your bathing suit at the beach.
Halter style on the top, this romper is anchored by a skort and wrap skirt combination on the bottom. It features very clever style lines cut on the bias. Take the bias grain line into consideration when choosing your fabric. Uneven plaids and uneven stripes might not be suitable.
Due to the wrap nature of the design, finish garment measurements are not available for this pattern, so choose your approximate size range from the sizing chart provided.
Pattern includes all 9 sizes.
Suitable fabrics are 60" wide: linen, cotton, shirtings. Allow plenty of extra fabric for matching plaids and stripes.
Decades of Style are professionally made patterns from vintage designs. There are often fun and unusual pattern making techniques. Great instructions, printed on heavy tissue paper!
