This is a paper pattern.
Named for the shapes the seam lines make, the Peaks and Valleys Pants are close-fitting, cropped, straight leg pull-on pants for stretch woven fabric (20% stretch on the cross grain required).
Medium high rise, slant pocket in front, patch pockets in back and diagonal seam between upper and lower section of pant legs. Use a contrasting fabric or reverse side of fabric to showcase the design lines.
Appropriate fabrics include: Any bottom weight stretch woven with 20% stretch on the cross grain: Stretch denim, stretch twill, stretch corduroy, stretch poplin or stretch sateen.
3/8 yard fabric for pocket lining need not be stretch: Any stable cotton like quilt cotton or shirting - a perfect opportunity to raid your scrap pile!
Pattern includes 11 sizes: 35"- 55" hip.
