Return Policy

The return policy of Selvedge Studio is limited, but strives to ensure a satisfied customer. Cut yardage is not returnable except for manufacturer defect. Products can be returned within 30 days because of manufacturer defect or shipping damage. If you need to return something, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for a replacement.

Shipping & Handling

Your shipping cost will be calculated in the shopping cart depending on your order and necessary arrival time. We use UPS and USPS, whichever better suits the order. All packages are insured when possible. Orders are shipped within 2 business days from Selvedge Studio in Montana. If there is a problem with your order, you will be contacted by email or phone.

Minimum orders

All web orders have a minimum of 1/2 yard, additional yardage is available in 1/2 yard increments. Some large scale prints are sold exclusively by the repeat, in this case the size and price of the repeat will be indicated. Design repeats are the distance between the beginning of one complete motif, or design unit, and the beginning of the next one. These repeats can be horizontal (H) and/or vertical (V).

Class Policies

The fee for each class must be paid at the time of signing up in order to be added to the class list.

Class space is limited so don’t be shy! All cancellations must be at least 48 hours in advance in order to receive credit for another class. We can reschedule you one time.  Classes are usually from 6-9pm, please be prompt, the projects take a full three hours to finish. 

Please come by Selvedge before your class to get your supply list and materials. Get 15% off when you get your supplies from Selvedge. Some projects require you to pre-wash your fabric, so fabric may need to be purchased the day before. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call, we are here to help. Class Skill Level Descriptions

Start Sewing: Beginning sewing classes for people who have never sewn before, or just need a little refresher. Sewing Student: For people who have recently taken a “Start Sewing” class but still consider themselves “beginners”. Sewing Addict: Intermediate classes for people who have completed at least 2 of the “Sewing Student” (or equivalent) classes. Sewing Sophisticate: Advanced classes for people who have experience and overall knowledge of sewing, including machine usage and terminology. go to the class calendar
